On Thursday May 3, 2007, Scholarship Night was held for the seniors at Pickens High School. It was held in the auditorium at Pickens High School. There were 250 students who graduated from Pickens High School on May 26, 2007. Of these 250 students many will go on to further their education in college, technical college, or some other type of advanced education program.

There are many local businesses, colleges, and local community citizens who donate funds in order to present scholarships to our seniors. The total amount of scholarships given this year on scholarship night was $1,019,250.00. If we add in students who are eligible for HOPE scholarship money, the total approaches $1,500,000.00.

We are extremely happy for our seniors and very appreciative of every organization or individual who donated to the scholarship fund for our students.
