Pickens County School District Outpaces State and National SAT Average
Every September, the Georgia Board of Education (GADOE) releases the final numbers for that year's graduating class's performance on the SAT, and while the state average has consistently outscored the national average, Pickens County School District students have also scored higher than Georgia's average.

The Georgia Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Center for Talent and Workforce Preparedness, in partnership with the Georgia Department of Education, awarded Pickens County School District with state with funds to support workforce preparedness programs.
